Out to strike gold in Eureka

Shepparton trainer Laura Crossland and partner reinsman David Moran will be looking to snare one of the features with recent stable addition Alotof Bliss at Sunday night’s Echuca Harness Racing Club meeting.

Crossland will line-up the former Riverina pacer in the $8275 Echuca Workers Club Eureka Series final for C0 Only class pacers, which is race eight on the 10-race card.

Alotof Bliss has a favourable draw in barrier two to make a bold showing on the tight Frank Ryan Raceway.

Alotof Bliss ran second to The Muse in her heat at Yarra Valley of the series when having her first start for Crossland on Monday.

Nathalia trainer Noel Tyndall looks to have a strong chance to land a double at the meeting.

He has the in-form Die Tryin perfectly drawn to win race five, while stablemate Earls Reign looks a top chance to breakthrough for a well deserved win in race seven, where last start winner Exclusive Matt could be his main danger.

Rochester trainer Mark Thompson will be trying to get punters away to a good start in the opening event when he presents last start winner Lies from a poleline draw over the short trip.

Top reinswoman Ellen Tormey will drive Lies.

Merrigum trainer Brett Bunfield will be looking for a change of luck with Bromac Del Mar in race two.

The pacer is coming off three seconds and a third from his past four starts, but has to overcome a wide draw off the front and will need some luck in the run over the short trip.
